I could actually imagine a CL English solo album slaying. I've always thought she could do what Iggy is doing, except CL can sing as well.

She has an international look and her English is good, but somehow I don't think YG is here for the US. He's more interested in fashion internationally rather than music.

Her English raps are kinda eeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh in terms of skill level. "Dirty Vibe" was indeed a step up but feel free to listen to "Gettin' Dumb" or the JPN version of "I Am the Best" if you need any more evidence.

To be honest, as long as the beat is good and the chorus is catchy, I doubt the rap lyrics really matter unless they are terribly bad.

I mean look at Nicki's Starships, her rap in that sucked, but it still smashed because of the song.

I didn't think Gettin' Dumb was that bad, she's not a brilliant rapper but she's ok.

But the issue will be the music, if she can get Will and/or Diplo to hook her up with mutual friends Dr. Luke and Cirkut, she will be set.
