If you use Spotify's % as a reference, it's not THAT global, around 36.07% of the streaming coming from the States. But of course, YouTube is more global. I think around 24-30%. Idk, I have the feeling the US specially was thirsty for him

It's very global so it does well on overall Youtube (it isn't doing quite that well on US-only Youtube). And in my opinion it was a huge hit.

It was really big globally. Plus what's helped its longevity is that it didn't smash everywhere all at once. For example, most of these views are likely coming from Japan since their album just came out there now.

They're ruining everything.
Not to mention Apple seems desperate to be ahead on Spotify and the latter is still the biggest on-demand streaming service worldwide.
