Well it was intended to under perform from the beginning both Christina and RCA are not oblivious to the situation, they both know about it and have both chosen to do very little about anything, to the point where the music video is getting a premiere on Vevo instead of The Voice, which is a really bad move.
However physically promoting the album/ Single starts tomorrow evening but I'm doubting it'll do much. Again the marketing of this project has failed to the point that taking chart position only into consideration Your Body is aiming for a worse run than Not Myself Tonight.
If this album fails either RCA will drop Christina or Christina will leave RCA i cannot see her staying with them either way.
However the song is very slowly loosing sales on iTunes and is currently at no:37 which is a good position to rise to the top 10 again only if the promotion is any good and comes soon, but the only bit of promotion that i can see helping this song now is The Voice performance, but when this is going to happen is unknown.
Overall like i said before the marketing and promotion is again what i call "Silent Promotion" anything announced has been through twitter or Facebook which is limited to who will see it. I will check the position again on Monday to see if the music video has helped at all.
