So anybody bringing it up now just because somebody else made an article pointing it out is another case of faux outrage to me. People want to use Beyonce as a spokesperson for every cause & for every group...it's ridiculous. I do not see this type of demand for any other celebrity. It's like she is Obama or somebody. The city spoke and I doubt Beyonce holding some press conference or whatever was going to sway the whole vote.

I've been keeping up with the BeyAHero campaign since he started it and they really just wanted her to post a picture telling young Houstonians to go out and vote because it really was a very important law.
Obviously she doesn't have to do anything. That's her right. But to get mad at people for expecting her to rally around the oppressed in her hometown is a bit... eh

We can't tout her as the most influential and biggest star of her generation and not expect people to look to her for support.
