I think I remember reading that she was depressed and her knees got really bad at that time too

I don't know exactly but it was obvious that she's depressed, I remember fans leaving her messages on her radio that they are here for her and etc

On that recent show with Henry that she was in (MBC Stargazing), she talked about how she had lost her identity as Lee Soonkyu, that while Sunny wants to continue performing and entertaining because it's fun, she's not really sure who Soonkyu is and what she likes and what she wants. On Beatles Code 2, she had talked about how she had been in a slump recently and she felt bad because everyone had such high expectations of her on variety and she felt she couldn't deliver. And then on Grandpa Over Flowers, I remember her being asked about her own grandparents, and she had cried saying that her grandfather had passed away and she hadn't even been able to attend her grandfather's funeral in America due to how busy she was. On the The Best interview, when she was asked if she had ever thought of quitting SNSD, she had replied that the life of an entertainer was hard and that she's thought a lot about how it would be nice to not be a celebrity. And then there's that long Instagram post she had made where it was obvious she had been thinking about things. There's a lot, man, and I think it gives some sobering insight into Sunny and idol life.

Girl clearly has issues, so I feel really bad when I see people bashing her
