Same here. I've always hoped before a cycle starts that when it comes for the comeback it will be such a strong competition to see who really wants back in after being eliminated. Each time I've done it though, only one has come back. Except last cycle when two came back with the technicality of dedication. It just really takes the fun and actual hard debate that could happen when only one (automatic entry) or two do it.
This sadly may be the last time I'll offer the comeback since its not really working out like I have hoped.

The comeback is offered too soon imo. Top 5 is a better place to bring someone back, but I can't say that participation would likely be a whole lot better then.

I think the comeback is in the perfect spot. It's right in the middle of the competition.
If it was offered further down the road it could be seen as more unfair to those still in and then just one coming back making their chances of winning go back down.
Can that argument be used in general for the comeback? Yes, but it just makes more sense having it in the middle of the route. Especially considering the hypothetical international destination is coming soon.

I'd rather have the comeback now, I think it'd be unfair to do a comeback near the end and potentially have someone who went in round 1, come back to the top 5, after only doing 2/3 challenges. It's the right time tbh.
