I'm pretty sure the weekly total is never affected, but rather the total. So lets say that week she sold 100,000 it brought her total to 400,000, the next week when it sells 120,000 with 5,000 complete my albums, her total would show 515,000.
Weekly total is not affected when contributing to Billboard Hot 100. All other sales-based markets remove those sales though, such as the UK.
