I swear to God, any ol' body can get up on a stage and just yell and suddenly they are the best singer ever.

I was at the barber shop once. They were having a discussion (two older women, three men) about some female singers. One compared Beyonce to Mary, saying she "loses control of her voice" and that they are both moreso 'entertainers' than vocalists. One said they never thought Monica could sing. Another said they never though MARIAH CAREY could sing. Then one fat guy is like "But Jennifer Hudson could beat anyone of them in a sing-off. She's a BEAST."
