I finally finished watching A DIfferent World on Netflix. I had bing watched seasons 1-4 on HULU during Winter Break and didn't have time to watch any episodes when school started back.
It instantly knocked Fresh Prince and Sister Sister of the top of my list for fav sitcom.
Every season was good. Nothing really happened in Season 1 but enjoyable and Season 6 was kind of all over the place, but still hilarious and I love the issues they covered. This show was kind of ahead of its time and terms of highlighting issues. I loved that they covered topics like HIV, black feminism, domestic violence, and didn’t tippy toe around the issue of racism. I’m guessing the show got cancelled because it got too real in those last two seasons.

I wish the show would've lasted two more seasons. It seemed like Jada Pinkett's character (Lena James) would've became the leader character of the show.
