Apart of me agrees but Drake has kinda already outlasted Nelly (who was over by late 2006).
Nellys dominance was much greater than Drakes tho. Drake still doesn't have THAT much of a mainstream appeal. He's not spending 12 weeks at #1. I guess it's bc hip hop in general was much bigger in the mainstream when Nelly ruled but yeah.
