I'm listening to "S&M" (Remix). Why does Britney sound like something off of Ducktales?

She was always first and foremost in Gaga's shadow unlike Katy who had her own presence.
A Gaga Sia track would be incredible.

Man, I just don't get the love for Sia.
Her solo music is fine, but I like very few of the songs she writes for other pop stars. The lyrics are corny, the music is boring, many of the singers try to emulate her vocal ticks but sound wrong doing them... idk. I'm not sure if it's a result of the other acts' contributions (did Katy and Britney make Double Rainbow and Perfume so terrible??) or if it's because she is pandering to her perceptions of others' audiences.

Kesha won't be used by the business anymore. If Imogen decides to write for the pop tarts, then she can be as big as Sia, why not, she has a deep understanding in music, just like our A grade student, 4am?

I forgot which poster had posted some of her most well-known written songs, and they all follow the same structure.

Do you really believe Kesha was ever in Pissga's shadow? Like, let's be real...
Even when TiK ToK went #1 over Bad Romance? Even when TiK ToK sold 12.8m in 2010 alone?
Even when We R Who We R debuted at #1?

Taylor has me thinking about dropping Gaga... Her album is so simple, yet elegant, relatable, and fun.

Emeli is the superior songwriter. This is why she makes every major album Sia gets on, but also the reason she can smash solo. She doesn't always have to hide behind something or someone. You don't become the highest selling black female album artist WW without TALENT.
Our Version of Events has outsold 1000 Forms of **** like 20x over. Emeli always wins.

This makes no sense.
Taste is subjective. Musical knowledge is not.
