Idk. 250k-300k in my dreams except I'm not joking at all lolz, 200k at least.
Also, she will be the first pop girl to release in this ****** sales climate so she will be the benchmark figure now. Kinda interesting.

Yeah, is it just me or did Rih like have a huge surge in popularity after Unapologetic? Like she was just there before and we were like the little outcast fanbase lol

Didn't it get a respectable AI peak, though? They just dropped it quickly.

45S was a decently sized hit but it's definitely a bit commercially underwhelming especially for a lead. But I think it has the potential to sell the album moreso than songs like We Found God so R8 may debut in the lower region of 200-225k adjusting for sales decline and everything.

well #6 isn't exactly respectable for someone who has once been called "the queen of pop radio". I expected at least top 3.

Also she has the largest solo single debut of 2015 with BBHMM (just from 3-4 days of sales) and she's the only artist to have released 2 songs with over 100M streams on Spotify this year. She's still the most streamed female artist, even AO was successful on Spotify........
Even if BBHMM's sales aren't amazing (~900K in the US, ~1,4M worldwide; still good for a urban song), it actually became a very popular song and might just become one of her signature songs, especially with the viral music video & live performance.
And besides the US, she's having a successful pre-era in countries like Australia, France, Sweden, Belgium, etc., that's still important.
She should definitely release 1 new single before the album, but R8 already includes 2 hits.

I doubt he'll be making a full-on return. Would love to be proven wrong, though.
Seeing as his nemesis, Lexus, is out of the picture, why not?

Hmm okay but since the song came out 7 months ago and the album still isn't here, safe to say that FFS isn't the lead single......I don't think it was ever meant to be the lead single, doesn't feel like it. Also a lead single is usually heavily promoted (see OG, WFL, Diamonds), even BBHMM had way more promo than FFS.

I thought FFS did well for what it was. I think you guys have to get out of this mentality that Rihanna can sell anything and make any song a hit. The song was probably the least radio friendly song she's released as a lead single. It didn't garner much radio support and the bitch abandoned it after 2 weeks and only 1 performance smh

I've been playing the s*** out of DSTM lately. Definitely feels timeless, especially with that DSTYGE sample.

Thankfully most critics seem to appreciate the step forward she's taken with her music. FFS was mostly well received, so was TTS, and BBHMM. Sometimes you have to trade in success for quality music and it seems that like Rated R this is once again the case for Rihanna.

I wonder if Higher has a change to be the next single. They can send a remix to the radio, like Summertime Sadness but with a quality DJ.
I think it is the kind of song that will make people buy the album and a big **** you to the haters that say she is recording another OG, WFL, Lean On.

I think that it's hard to say. It doesn't appear she is trying to appeal to pop radio this era. However like FFS I think adult contemporary and urban would give the song a few spins. I think it would be a good fall song but not at this time of year tbh.
