I wouldn't count Adele's grammys before they're won. That's exactly why she might not get them.
Even if she sweeps again, Gaga will hopefully be in a much better position than she was in 2011. She's worked hard to be seen as a legit talent, a classic vocalist and all-round entertainer. Adele isn't the 'anti-Gaga' anymore.
Besides, all this work with her brand is long-term investment, not for a quick boost. It won't be wasted.
Not to mention, it may be a controversial thing to say considering people are so swept up in the hype, but there's no reason to think Adele will outlast Gaga in the spotlight. She's got other chances to 'slay the Grammys' and what not.

Agreed. That's how pop music works. One thing and everything can change.
I don't care about Gaga even debuting at #2 with the album, debuting at #5 with her single, losing a Grammy, whatever, as long as she serves good music that is recognised as such without all the garbage heaped on her name like the ARTPOP era.
You believe that's the real meaning of Just Dance?
Dah-dah, doo-doo.

I mean, it was after she had cut ties with Fusari and it's clearly an influence in "Monster" and "Swine". Gaga's lyrics tend to have darker meanings than their surface value. I don't think it's a stretch.

Monster is about rape. Just Dance is about being pissed.
yeah im sad after all this image re-building gaga wont even stand a chance against adele in terms of #1s or grammys, but whatever after artpop my expectations are so low i could care less about sales and ****, ever since guy ive accepted gaga as a great indie artist anyways. lets pray she snatches at least two grammys in february because she wont be getting any in 2017
