Everyone here seems to dislike it. Either that or the minority (people who don't like it) are extremely vocal. Maybe I haven't been here at the right times but I rarely see people who love it, there's only like three people I can think of including myself in this thread.
It's acclaimed because it's innovative, over the top and highlights one of the many great things about pop music. I understand it's too clustered for some but as someone who loves OTT pop music it's kinda perfect.
Also for the western reviewers who constantly say that k-pop is behind the western trends, they couldn't say that at all for IGAB because it doesn't sound like anything western or korean. That probably helped.
