No, it just made me update and then let me play without the patches. My system didn't have enough space for the patches.
the internet here is awful and I learned that the PS4 has some games that make you download 17 GB patches and it would literally take a week or so to download that
By the way, omfg Xenoblade Chronicles X is so good!!! I am obsessed. It has taken almost every bit of my free time. I just can't believe how amazing it is.. I never played the original Xenoblade, I will for sure pick up the 3D edition sometime next year.
I'm really not a huge JRPG, or even RPG, guy. In fact this is probably the first JRPG I'm really getting into. I love Kingdom Hearts and that's basically it for RPGs.
The first 15 or so hours with the game, it's quite daunting.. There's soooo many intertwining systems and currencies and just SO much. But after awhile it just totally *clicks*.
Stan.
My mother bought me Xenoblade today but she's not giving me it until Christmas. Ugh. Being poor is the ****ing worst
I don't have anything to compare to as I downloaded the patches a week before the game released in preparation, but everything loads remarkably quickly and the textures are quite detailed.
Iirc, Nintendo recommends that you download the Basic High-Speed Data Loading pack at the very least as it has the highest impact on loading times. It's only 2gb.
I have $250, girls. Suggestions? I've already got Bayonetta 2, Acclaim Chronicles X & an external HDD for more memory which I need. The $250 is left over after those 3.
Edit: I'm gonna get Yo-Kai Watch too so make that $205ish.
I just read that Kotaku article about Undertale beating all those classic games in the GameFAQs tournament Honestly, it made me want to check the game out. They should bring it to the eShop.

I mean, in a year it wouldn't have even beat half of them.

No spoilers, but there's a part in it that would make it impossible for it to bring to consoles
