That's not at all true though. Donny wasn't targeted for weeks because he was not social with the other HGs (
), he was targeted because he wasn't a mindless sheep to Derrick's manipulations like the rest of the house. He didn't believe the ******** that Frankie and Derrick were spewing to him and he constantly saved himself. Plus, Derrick knew he had America in the bag and he wanted to eliminate him as soon as possible, he himself has said it many times.
Now, I'm not saying that Donny had a good social game, he didn't, but it wasn't entirely his fault. He was smart to keep his distance from the house (i.e. the convo he had with Crusty about the powers that be quickly getting to Derrick & co. putting it in more danger, etc). There was a big age difference between him and the rest of the HGs and that didn't help him either. Not to mention the fact that the contestants this season, besides Derrick and Frankie, didn't have games of their own/were just weak, so talking game with others wouldn't have helped him (i.e. see the rest of the house that wasn't a part of the Detonators - they're all gone!).
