I don't have an auxiliary cord so I have to use CDs right now in my new card (which I finally got). So I've been listening to Born This Way since ARTPOP broke. All of the songs mesh together and flow so well together - aside from Americano and maybe Highway Unicorn, it's an extremely strong tracklist.

This is ignoring the bonus songs though. I bought the one with an iconic cover.

I don't use Americano, but HU is lowkey a good song if you can get past the cheesy lyrics and concept. That last 40 seconds is FIRE

Yeah, Lady Gaga didn't want Applause on ARTPOP, that's why she wrote the song, recorded it and presented to Interscope.



All this speculation, guessing what she wanted and what not, what was gonna be a single and what not is pointless.

We don't know, nick doesn't know either.

All we know is that Venus was a planned second single and it was scrapped due to huge reaction towards DWUW.

We also know she had lawsuits she was fighting with,she fired her manager(and we really don't know the reason behind it) and was overall miserable beacuse all of it.

And thanks! I actually secretly love Highway Unicorn but everyone hates it so I do low-key shade it and acknowledge it is a bit underwhelming. It's a ton of fun and I love the last minute and a half of it though. Gaga and her songs always having flawless last minutes and a halves. HU and The Queen need to do a collab.

This era I don't understand why the "superfans" have access to all her unreleased music and videos, it legit feels like she's making music for a group of 20 people and the rest of the world doesn't matter to her.

This and the pre-chorus are the best parts of the song. If the entire song had a production similar to the pre-chorus it would have been amazing.

Donatella as a concept is such a wasted song. Her first problem was re-using an instrumental Zedd already made. Her second problem was making it strictly about Donatella when she should've used a better metaphor and written more precisely.

Meh why even bother to pick apart this album anymore
