People doing THE MOST with Soshi as usual. Holler is definitely title track material. It's fierce and in your face and has a beat for great choreography.
Not to say Whisper or the other songs on the mini aren't better, but let's be real. If they performed Whisper 2-3 times a week, i'd be over watching the performance after the 2nd week of promotions.
!!!!
Like I honestly don't get the Holler hate. It's like a flawless mix of Something and Suri Suri for me.
Ah so you caught the shade.
The public must not think I Swear is as good as Touch My Body, how interesting.
Lemme tell you my theory: lack of hype. The song was announced one week before release as a follow-up. Even when SISTAR did Alone+Loving U they did it with different concepts and more time apart. Now, two summery songs in a row and with only 2 weeks promo, thankfully it's putting up a good fight. #Justice4ISwear

But still talking about charts:
Quote:
According to market research firm KoreaClick, this is a ranking of the amount of unique visitors to Korean Digital Music sites from the months of April to June:
1. Melon - 617 million
2. Genie - 223 million
3. Mnet - 176 million
4. Bugs - 81 million
5. Soribada - 28 million
Woah at Genie's jump. Is SM still putting their logo in their MVs?
PS I think Holler is great and very SNSD. Like Gee, Oh, Hoot - this sounds like a natural progression from them, if you forget The Boys/IGAB/Mr Mr. Kinda wish it was the main group's comeback tbh. I really think with all 9 of them, it would have slayed that bit extra... Imagine that MV with all 9? It would have been Genie's redux! I really think SM missed a trick here
Seems like SM cut the budget on the music and spent more on the TTS MV.
I just finished listening to the mini and it is really boring/forgettable. And that Problem copy is tragic. Did they think nobody would notice?
The TTS visuals look good, but SM tried to save money too much on the music because it's rubbish. Holler is not bad, it's catchy but it's dated. The song is already 6 years old.
Red Velvet got the most expensive launch tbh, and then EXO. SNSD also had The Underdogs but I doubt their rates are that expensive compared to Chad Hugo. Seems like they overspent earlier this year and tried to cut costs with TTS.

I'd disagree and say EXO's launch was WAY more expensive than Red Velvet.
When do SM ever spend money on music over image? This isn't a TTS-centric issue. People ain't using SaveMore just for the kii's, it's the tea most of the time. The quality of title tracks by SM have been middling for years now and it's widely known the mini/album tracks are guaranteed to be worse. They've always been an "image first" kind of company. Look at Yoona for an example.
I don't think Holler is dated? If you didn't know it was from a 2007 track you probably wouldn't be saying that. What is so obviously dated about it? The verses have that synth that kinda sounds like Play by Christina Milian, but only a tinge. Even then, that's not enough to be called dated? And sis, I don't mean any shade, because I love ha, but c'mon now... with that Alexandra Burke avi of clips from around 6 years ago??? Let's not
I'd disagree and say EXO's launch was WAY more expensive than Red Velvet. RV had a few sets, but I'd say the hair dye was more expensive than most of their stuff. And again, we don't even know if Happiness was always for them...

Happiness is when you "shine on them" I thought they made that clear

I know they are an image first company, that gets obvious pretty quickly. But the music is still important. IGAB was a great track and sounded fresh, same with Happiness.
Holler is dated, the production hasn't changed in 6 years and it's been released by 2 other people before TTS. It's a song from 2008
I'm just saying that they could have had fresher production rather than reheated leftovers from Girlicious etc. Chad Hugo is not an easy producer to land so SM did a good job getting him for Happiness and the song sounds fresh and better produced imo.
And sis, watch your step with that Alex drag. She performed with Block B leave her out of this
