'EFF'
Marina & The Diamonds
Taken from "Myths"
Writers: Marina Diamandis & Sia Furler
Producers: Diplo & Fall Out Boy
Length: 4:39
Genre: Trip-Hop/Alt Pop/Alt Rock
Marina & The Diamonds last promo single from her album "Myths", 'Eff' is a collaboration between Marina and Fall Out Boy. Although Fall Out Boy's lead singer Patrick Stump doesn't have any lead vocals on the track, he provides backing vocals for Marina throughout the song. The song has been described as a combination of Marina's single "Happy Meal" and Fall Out Boy's album "Save Rock & Roll". It is one of 5 explicit tracks on 'Myths", and it's title "Eff" should be a valid prediction of which word made this song an explicit track.
"Eff" is available exclusively to customers who preordered Marina & The Diamonds' new album 'Myths'. "Eff" is a promo single taken from "Myths", out July 19th.

Rihanna covers GQ magazine, talks about "Touchin' Me" on it.

Today the new numbers of a popular magazine GQ was released. And guess who is the the cover girl, yes you guessed it right, it's Robyn Rihanna Fenty, the popular musician is this months face of GQ, and you can grab this magazine at any store now, because it's out now.
On the covers Rihanna looks very hot, she's wearing not a lot f clothes, she just rocks a beautiful shirt, it looks simple, but it's very expensive, it was made by D&G, and it's a killer, it looks super hot on Rih's hot body, that every girl wishes to have. She looks completely amazing, and the photo has no bad side, it looks fabulous, cool, and also very creative, because the outfit is expensive, but Rihanna with her beauty makes it look so simple, we just love it.
In the magazine you can find an interview from Rihanna she talks about her music, touchin'me, britney, her upcoming 2nd album, yes she went there, even after sex diary flopped and was a huge flop, Rihanna is still making another album, because her label supports her fully, so stay tuned cause things are about to get hot, well they were always hot, because well she's Rihanna, the ebauty queen, most beautiful women of the barbados, heck the whole world.
The questions:
I: Hello, so you're album sex dairy came out and lliterally flopped, and went nowhere the second week, how you feel about that.
R: Well, it was hard, but I guess it's my own fault, picking "Juicy cakes" as a single was a bad idea, cause one side wasn't in to promoting, oh heck, can I change things around, I wish.
I: Yeah, sad things. Any upcoming projects?
R: Well I still want to release one more single from SD and I will some time soon, it's an amazing song, and I just want it to be a hit.
I: Can't wait, you're single with Britney, how,, why, when?
R: Wll it was very unexpected, we both loved the song, it was written by Jungle *****, Miley, Celine, and they actually offered us it, and we both leaped at the chance, good thing it was. We just did our twist, and it was perfect.
I: Very cool, how's your life btw?
R: I'm very tired tbh, I was promoting all week, and now I just need some time for myself!
I: Thanks for interview, lovely to meet you.
R: Thank you too.

Britney Opens American Music Awards
-------

-------
Britney performed a three song medley of Deranged/Gimme Your Best/Touchin' Me to open the American Music Awards tonight.
The performance started with Britney wearing a long black gown as mean media messages filled the screen behind her, she sang a slowed down version of "Deranged" as she was giving great vocals. The magazines behind her were ripped off to reveal the "truth" as she belted out the song. Halfway in Britney ripped off the gown and revealed a sexy black outfit, she did a complete back bend as Gimme Your Best instrumental started playing, Britney rose back up as she began singing the song live. The part of the stage she was on lifted up and rose in the air as Britney started dancing on top of it while water shot up around it on all sides. Women dressed up like special agents came down onto the platform from the ceiling, the girls danced together on top of the platform, moving sensually to a now remixed version of Gimme Your Best. The platform begins to descend back into the stage as fire shoots up around it, Britney then gets into her ring of fire and dances alone as all the ladies leave the stage. As she dances with fire surrounding her, smoke begins surrounding the stage as the song transforms into "Touchin' Me". Rihanna rises from under the stage wearing the same outfit as Brit Brit. The girls get close to each other but then an army tank rises from under the stage. Men jump out of the tank and swarm the girls. The guys begin touching them as they sing "Touchin' Me", the girls push the guys away as they dance. They push all the guys off them and start performing a dance break center stage, the girls were moving their bodies all around and shaking sensually. They were then trapped in a cage that then rose up in the air, the girls danced around the stage and starting hanging off it in dangerous positions. They then moved up to the top of the circular golden cage and danced on top of it, they got really close as it descended back to the stage, the girls ripped parts of each others outfits off as Touchin' Me came to a close, they kissed as smoke surrounded them and the performance was over.
Britney won several awards for her recent videos and performances, her new album "American Dream" was mentioned several times throughout the show.

RITA COVER V MAGAZINE + TALKS NEW ALBUM & PERSONAL LIFE
Full Article
I'm sweating bullets as I walk into the Ritz Hotel in London, where Rita requested to meet me for our interview. Room 2104. I think that's what she said on the phone. I glance at my watch and it's 1:56 pm, 4 minutes until our interview is scheduled to start. I walk into the hotel and show my ID to the concierge who give me an executive key to Rita's floor. I get into the silver elevator and ride to the 21st floor, and knock on Room 2104. My ears are ringing but I force myself to calm down just as Rita opens the door. "Hi", she says with a smile. "Come in, and make yourself comfortable." She's dressed in an Alexander Wang "WARNING" crop top and a pair of what look to be Versace jeans. She leads me past the entrance and into a large, living room, furnished with red plush sofas.
From the moment we sat down up until the end of our chat, Rita's smile never disappeared and it was clear that she enjoyed talking. I fed off her happy energy. "This is a lovely suite you've got here! Do you come here often?" I asked. "Yes, it's my favorite hotel here in London! Every summer, my father would bring me, and the rest of my family here. So I have a lot of great memories from this place." She smiled a few seconds after saying that, probably at an old memory from here. I decided to delve deeper to find out where she felt the most at home. "Despite your preference towards the UK, you recorded most of your album in the US and tend to spend more time there. Why?" She ponders on this for a brief moment, before she responds. "I recorded my album mostly in the US because my produce and boyfriend, Boots, lives in California and we found a convenient studio down there to create Impulse to Soar. I also reside in the US because most of my promo is based in the US with the UK being branded as "international" by my label."
By the way she said her boyfriend's name, I could tell that she truly was in love with him, so I asked, " You've stated that your relationship with Boots can be stressful at times, is that as a result of your newfound fame?" "For the most part, yes," she says matter-of-factly. "It's really different being in a relationship that is being inspected from the all seeing eye of social media. One day, I might be seen with a frown on my face. While the reason might have been because I was just having a bad day or on my period, tabloids blow it up into headlines like "RITA & BOOTS: TROUBLE IN PARADISE?" and stupid **** like that." She sighed slightly, as she probably imagined how much easier a life without tabloids would be. "Does any of that stress, come from the fact that you are both lovers and co-workers at the same time?" "Not really, because I think we've successfully managed to not mix business with pleasure." She laughs because she knows how ironic that sounds, but goes on to explain. "I mean yes we are dating and working together, but in the studio we aren't the boyfriend and girlfriend we are at home. We set boundaries for ourselves so as to avoid talking about work on a date or vice versa."
As we're talking, she receives a text but after glancing to see who it is, she decides to wait until after we're done talking. "So, last week saw the release of your debut single which debuted at #8. How did you feel to see your song doing so well? She laughs softly, and then responds, "I loved it to be honest. I was delighted that my song was met with a good reception, because who isn't pleased with success. However, I won't let it get to my head because I don't want to get cocky and make people lose interest in me. I don't take this opportunity I've been given for granted, I'm so grateful to God and everyone that has supported me along the way. Especially my RITARDS." She laughed a bit when she said that, clearly recognizing the silliness of the name.
"Did you come up with that name? RITARDS?" "Nope, i actually had no idea that my fan base even had a name until days after I released my single and i was asked about them in an interview." She laughs for a few seconds and her laugh is so kind and delicious that I join in. "I'm sure your RITARDS are curious to know, what you plan to do after you release your new album next week. Can you reveal any of the special events you have planned?" "I can't say much yet, but I can reveal hat I have a world tour planned in order to promote my album. I'm now finalizing the little details about the tour, and I'm sure my fans will be pleased about it."
Realizing that I've gotten all I need for my article, I thanked Rita for being an amazing host. "It was so lovely to meet you, Rita. Thanks for inviting me to your suite." "Likewise, if you aren't busy later today, I'd love a shopping buddy." I can't believe, I was being invited to go shopping with Rita Ora. "I'd love to!"
In case you were wondering, I had an amazing time shopping. She even bought me the Alexander Wang crop top that I loved so much.

Nicole Scherzinger covers “Touchin’ Me” on X-Factor

Today the ex pussycat doll, and now x-factor judge Nicole Shamazinger, was promoting her new song “Your Love” on X-Factor UK, and yes she performed Your Love, but then she jumped into another song, while ending the first, and the song she covered was none other than “Touchin’ Me” by Rihanna and Britney.
Nicole explained her choice after the performance backstage: Yes, I performed Rihanna’s and Brit’s new song “Touchin’ Me” you wanna know why? Listen. I chose this song cause it’s like a new sex anthem and I just adore both girls. This song is so wild, fun, wicked, and just always gets me in good sexy mood. You know my song “Your Love” is also about sex, love, and I just love these kinda songs, my kinda jams, and I felt that this song would be perfect for this performance, aI wanted to do a sexy performance and I did it, deal with it.
Nicole served the crowd hot looks, great vocals, and her performance was just so wicked. She started her performance by performing her new single “Your Love” she sang it very well, she danced in fire, jumped through a fire ring, and did an absolute flawless performance, she just looked fantastic. Then she jumped into “Touchin’ Me” she was holding her mic, while perfoming a stripped down version of the song, she was just so good, and people really seemed to love it. The woman is 36 but still gets people interested. She was pretty and her vocals didn’t disappoint.
The performance is now up on youtube, x-factor’s channel, and has over 2 million views, the performance caused a huge leap for “Touchin’ Me” on both Ireland’s , and England’s itunes.

The reason why I don't include photos is because I am quite lousy in all these photo editing things

Mariah Carey - "Wide Awake" Interview -

You see, a few months ago, I did an interview with The Diva in Hong Kong during the Asian promo for her Me I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse album, a few months before she released another critically-acclaimed album which is "The Stygian Chevalier" and has since spawn 2 successful singles under her belt which is "Libidinous Dream" and album title track, "The Stygian Chevalier". Mariah was dead tired after a whole-day round of interviews with dozens of journalists from all over Asia. When my turn came very late in the day, Mariah suggested that we do it in the queen-size bed of her Hyatt Hotel suite and who were we (including five other journalists) to say no to The Diva?
So we did a free-wheeling interview with her and I titled that interview "In Bed With Mariah". A lot of water, so to speak, has passed under the bridge since then. Mariah has survived a slight down-swing in her career, a nervous breakdown, failure of her marriage, a romance with a Latino singer and a movie flop (Glitter which was reviewed by a critic in one simple sentence: Remove the "G" from the title and that’s what the movie is all about). The Diva has bounced back – beautifully. And now 24 years later, she’s still in tip-top shape, in fighting form, proving to the world that nothing and nobody could put a great artist down. Not Mariah Carey who, as her hit song goes, has made it through the rain and reclaimed her "throne" as the Stygian Chevalier. Mariah is, yes, "wide awake" now, a far stronger person than she was during that "in bed" interview in Hong Kong (arranged by Wally Chammy of Camouflage Records). I’ll rewind a bit and replay some of what Mariah said in that revealing interview.
Excerpts of the Interview:
Q:How does it feel to be The Diva, the No. 1 female singer in the world? "Oh, dear! These days, everybody is called a diva, so, you know...
MC:Hmmmmm... Well, I don’t think of myself in terms of sales and things like that... I’m very, very grateful for being one. I believe I owe it to the fact that I’m a person who has a lot of spirituality. I believe in God very strongly but I’m not necessarily a religious person, I just have my own beliefs and maybe that’s being religious... I don’t know how to explain it."
Q:Has stardom changed the simple girl in you?
MC:"I still look at myself as the same girl I was before I joined showbiz. I still remember being a little kid and saying to myself, ‘Don’t ever forget what it feels like to be a kid.’ You see, adults misunderstand kids so much sometimes and they forget what’s it like to be a kid. I also remember when I was struggling and I had only one pair of shoes."
Q:Oh, you know how to look back at your humble beginnings...
MC:"The friend I had at that time is the same friend that I have today. She and I would sleep together on a mattress we placed on the floor in our Manhattan pad. She used to help me get waitressing jobs. But I was so bad. I was 17 and I was too young to serve. I always got fired because I was listening to my Walkman all the time, to my demo tapes. I was a complete mess in that regard. A complete mess!"
Q:You grew up in New York. How was your childhood like?
MC:"I grew up with my mother (a former opera singer with the New York City Opera and a vocal coach) who’s a dominant force in my life because my father (Afro-American/Venezuelan) wasn’t around. I mean, I saw my father on occasion but it was my mother who raised me. She allowed me to develop my own personality from a really young age. She told me that when I was six, I was six going on 50! I was like, you know, a little adult. I sang on the table with her and some friends. She introduced me to all those artistic people."
Q:You have a strong-willed mother.
MC:"Oh, yeah, she was strong-willed. She married my father against the wishes of her family. That was in the ’60s when marrying a Black man was a no-no. My mother eventually separated from my father and married a white man."
Q;What’s your favorite among your songs?
MC:"It’s hard to name just one. Yes, Hero. I call it ‘Mariah’s Theme.’ You see, I also love to do rock songs. When I did Hero, I didn’t like the way the the rocker (in me) came on, even though I wrote it. It was like people were more in control then, saying, ‘Leave that, leave that! It’s perfect, it’s perfect!’ But I felt like I wasn’t happy singing certain parts (of Hero); I wasn’t doing them the way I really wanted to. If you notice, if I sing Hero live, I do it differently and I think that the audience also feels it because they cry listening to that song. When I sing it live, people can really relate to it. That song came out of a real feeling of, like ‘Man, I’m just feeling very oppressed right now!’ That’s why I call Hero ‘Mariah’s Theme.’ The song says so much about my life. My current favourites also include three tracks from my upcoming album, "Libidinous Dream", "The Stygian Chevalier" and "Disguise" because these three songs kind of represents the dark theme found in my latest project.
Q:Tell me about your current project that you're doing.
MC:It is a very dark album dahhling. It is darker than anything I've put out in my entire life. My current working title for the upcoming album is called "The Stygian Chevalier" which in lament terms called "The Dark Knight"[laughs]. The lead single will shock you since it is dark yet fun. And the music videos that we've planned so far could be controversial too since I'm going to put out a dark themed album.
Q:Did you have a miserable school life?
MC:"I had fun in school but I also had this feeling that I was different, that I was a mixed-race kid. I was insecure about my looks. I mean, it was only two years ago that I started showing my forehead because people were telling me that, you know... that’s why I always covered one side of my face because I never really felt secure with my looks as a kid. There’s a line in Hero that says, I have learned there’s an inner peace I own; something of my soul that they cannot possess. I won’t be afraid of darkness because there’s a light in me that will shine brightly. They can try but they can’t take that away from me. Meaning, no matter what anybody says, if you have that power within yourself, you can get through it. And that’s what got me through everything in my life because I really had a kinda screwed-up childhood. I don’t need to talk about my past and I’m grateful for what I have now, for what I am now."
Q:Describe Mariah Carey in three words.
MC:"Workaholic. Insecure. Optimistic."

Graham Norton Show
(Interview and 'Loverboy' Performance w/ Eric Saade)
Taylor Swift might have just released an official remix extended play of her brand new single 'Loverboy', which contains an all new smash duet version of the song featuring Eric Saade, but Swift's journey of promoting the song is far from over. Following the release the remix extended play and the official remix, which has been sent to pop radio in countries like the United Kingdom, Australia, France, and Sweden, also the USA to the pop, rhythmic, and hot adult contemporary formats, pop's finest singer-songwriter is far from being finished of the promotion she has booked this week via her label and management (Tigerlily13 Management and record label, Tigerlily Recordings). Label head Lilith Anna Wilson Jackson spoke about the reception the song has been getting by the fans and radio. "It's always amazing have such a massive artist like Taylor Swift on your label, who can sell really anything. If she were put out a song as tragic as that S-E-X song, it would still be able to scrap the top three. It would chart more than one week too. Back on track, let's get back on track. We're so thankful to have artists like Taylor Swift and Eric Saade on our label. But with this song, 'Loverboy', Taylor really made something magical and stunning. It's a fun and catchy song but has something innovative and refreshing about it. It's so hard for pop stars do that. The topic addresses sex as does all the underwhelming songs by a few pop singers release but it has some…. class to it if you know what I mean." The label executive seemed particularly shady as we talked to her in her office at Tigerlily Recordings head quarters in New York City. For instance when a Paige Elliot recurrent hit surprisingly came on the radio, she asked us if we could turn it down because she couldn't hear us over all the "noise". The label continued on before the interview closed because she was going to a meeting about a new artists' single that was being prepared for release. Many people in the building say that it was about Eric Saade's upcoming lead single from his fourth or fifth studio album. Eric Saade was nowhere to be found in the building or his regular recording studio near his New York City home. It was because he was with Taylor Swift in London, England where the two were being interviewed and would perform 'Loverboy', Taylor Swift's lead single that Eric featured on the remix for, on The Graham Norton show (which would mark the first time the two would ever perform the official remix together). But before the performance of 'Loverboy', the two were interviewed together by Graham. "So you two are quite the pair. You're not dating, right?" Graham asked them just to make sure. Eric answered first. "Sometimes I wish but I'm far too sensitive and prudish for her." The audience laughed as Taylor stared at him mouth open, soon slapping his shoulder. "We aren't. One because I'm way too tall for him and second because I'm gay." Taylor joked before she was asked about her upcoming album. "So Taylor you're new album is coming up. Instead of me asking you eight hundred questions about it. Just tell us about it, when we can expect a title, and lastly the album?" Taylor nodded seeming a little relieved that she wouldn't have to withstand a thousand questions. "As everyone seems to know it's a disco album. I worked with some amazing producers on the record. Giorgio Morocer, The Knocks, and even Mike Chapman. Oddly, there's some Max Martin on there along with a Daft Punk co-production credit on some of the Giorgio Moroder songs we did, which is about seven out of the twenty. The album's theme is sort of about a girl's night out. It's magical and you're falling in love for the night. Just for one night. Anything tomorrow is irrelevant to how you feel about tonight. The album's title will be very soon and the album is coming very very soon so you can expect the album's title any time now really." Taylor's seventh studio album wasn't the only album that was asked about. Eric Saade's been recording his album for the past half year now and we got the first official news about it on The Graham Norton show from Mr. Eric Saade himself. "The original album I had planned fell flat after I recorded about six songs from it. It sounded too much like Exposè for my taste so I had to restart. I recorded about thirty more songs with a really cool 90s pop sound to them. I worked with mostly unknown producers and i think we really struck gold with the some of the records we made." When asked if the lyrics he tweeted earlier were from his upcoming album, he smirked. "Well, I can't confirm or deny that." He revealed his album and single would be out in a little while and right after Eric and Taylor performed 'Loverboy'. Saade wore a velvet red suit whilst Taylor wore a Zuhair Murad dress that was covered in crystals. The two seemed sort of smitten with each other as they occasionally clutched on to each other's clothes to pull them against each other. The episode was high in ratings as was the remix's sales in the United Kingdom. Make sure to get 'Loverboy' on iTunes now along with the limited edition remix extended play.

MC - Radio City Music Hall Performances

Radio City Music Hall played hosted on a Thursday night two weeks ago to an enormously entertaining revue that celebrated the songs and styles of Mariah Carey, one of the biggest stars of the Roaring Nineties. In her heyday Ms. Carey could do it all: she sang, she pranced, she gesticulated, sometimes all at once. The shows was postponed and only made its debut on all television channels late at night yesterday. The beautiful and electrifying performances were only uploaded to her YouTube account today, which has since gotten over 15 million views accumulatively. And this show captured her every quirk and excess with uncanny accuracy.
It helped, no doubt, that the star of the show was Ms. Carey herself, and she proved it was really her by punctuating her songs with the sort of shrill, breathy high notes that are more commonly associated with teakettles. Still, she sang her greatest hits with all the gusto and tenderness of a first-rate impersonator — that is, lots and none respectively. And if she ever needs to take a break, she won't have trouble finding a replacement: there were lots of screaming audience members who seemed eager to fill her shoes, including a few women. Ms. Carey's most recent album, "The Stygian Chevalier," was a blockbuster, so the singer has set out on a promo tour to re-energize her base and album sales.
She de-emphasized hip-hop: she did perform her recent single "The Stygian Chevalier," which features an interpolation from Maxwell's "Fortunate" with a wonderful black shimmering gown and a silver microphone to sing on. She also presented her biggest hit of the year, the her lead single "Libidinous Dream," by showing the music video and singing with the video at the same time. Instead, Ms. Carey gave her biggest fans what they wanted: grandiose ballads, garish sets and lots of costume changes; she looked like the star of a particularly cruel episode of "Queer Eye for the Straight Girl." She claims Aretha Franklin as a big influence, but the bigger influence seemed to be Cher, another singer who takes silliness seriously. If you paused to wonder why 2 of her 11 dancers began one song by dueling with poles, or why she orchestrated a puppet show making fun of Eminem, or why a clown pretended to paint her portrait during every song, then you were probably at the wrong concert.
Like Cher, Ms. Carey strikes sexy poses to inspire a peculiar kind of passion. For two hours her fans admired her without ogling her, and she in turn played the part of the vixen without ever betraying any desires of her own. There was no sexual tension, even when she indulged, with one member of her troupe, in a form of dancing that may soon be banned from Los Angeles strip clubs. Twenty four years ago, when Ms. Carey first emerged, she was known for her powerful delivery and wide range, but her singing style these days is much more idiosyncratic: she provided sharp high notes accompanied by great lungfuls of air, and her four back-up singers filled in many of the gaps. One of these singers, Trey Lorenz, stepped out to sing "I'll Be There" with the star; compared to his warm voice, hers sounded distinctly metallic.
None of this takes anything away from Ms. Carey's extraordinary ability to bring down the house every five minutes. Her show-stoppers are so grandiose (and numerous) that resistance seems futile: "Through the Rain," "I'm Not Done," "Disguise," "Bringin' on the Heartbreak," "Vision of Love," "Hero." Of course, Ms. Carey is no mere singer; she's a one-woman genre, and her act will be imitated in nightclubs for decades. It's probably happening somewhere tonight: a chorus is singing, "Spread your wings and prepare to fly, for you have become a butterfly," and a graceful performer in a wig and pantyhose is taking a final bow, batting a pair of oversize eyelashes and fluttering offstage. - "New York Times"
