Lord is coming a bit. She currently has 10 points, but her placement on the Guardian's list has yet to be added since it's not complete. She came in at 12 on that list, which will give her 13 points, shooting her up to 17 at the highest.
We can expect Her to fare well on lists from Rolling Stone, Pretty Much Amazing, Popmatters, and Billboard.
Ugh, the rockists that use this site will go under so much cognitive dissonance when they see Lord so high.
She's in control of almost every aspect of her career. Her live vocals have been autotuned for multiple broadcasts on multiple networks in multiple countries.
Why do people keep thinking it's all these broadcasters that choose to add the autotune in instead of one of the only constants in all of her performances: her & her people?
More importantly, what kind of shade do you think the broadcaster's are throwing @ The Lord by only choosing to autotune her performance and nobody elses?
Just done listening to the whole Speak Now album, from Mine to Superman. And I have to say this, IT'S STILL HER BEST ALBUM TO DATE. 1989 and Red tried it. Her country-pop songs are better than her pure pop songs.
Her perf at the AMAs was pretaped
This is the screenshot that says "recorded earlier this evening" when Pitbull was introducing her perf
And even if it did, doesn't matter, she slayed that perf. And her vocals weren't autotune for that perf Did you and I watch the same perf cause I can confidently say her vocals weren't autotune
