Well, first of all, You and I has only been charting on the pop radio chart on mediabase for 7 days in comparison to Rihanna's 19. Furthermore, Lady GaGa's adds date isn't for another week. So chill.
GaGa's also releasing her first ballad, and this is something she's never done before (even in regards to sound).
That and you have to factor in that Cheers is more of a "pop" song than is You and I along with the fact that Rihanna is a stronger Radio artist than is GaGa. Simply put.
I think the thinking behind releasing the video right before the adds date is to create buzz via the media, that and no one on here can't deny that this song needed an early video release to push it up on the charts as much as possible. Plus, the video will be out 10 days before the VMAS where the real promo will begin. So, by the time we get to the VMAS, You and I should be much higher, and will be at a point where GaGa will be at an advantage.
But, really, you shouldn't worry about the charts, lol. I know we all do, but you really shouldn't.
