Can't you all just enjoy the music? ARTPOP is a good album with good songs on it but you're failing to see this because you're too concerned with chart success. |

I haven't been in this thread for a while. I will say this though, Gaga WILL make a comeback. It may not be on y'all's timeline, but she'll be back. The GP will get tired of the generic bull**** that's on the radio now and will be begging Gaga to bring something new and fresh, and I honestly believe that she'll deliver. Just ****ing relax!

She obviously wants to flop in order to resurrect her self. I'm a believer of the Paparazzi video 
There's no way she could've believed that the way music is now & what's on the radio that the public would've been interested in a reverse Warholian experience which she didn't even carry out fully. Unless she truly is nuts

I think so too. I'm really glad GUY flopped, Gaga needed that wake up call badly, I can't even imagine how many more fans she lost this era. She lives in such a bubble world that she can remain under the delusion that she's still hugely relevant, her brand still makes enough money that her team will just suck up to her to keep their jobs. No one's going to get her to come back except herself, so hopefully this whole mess will finally get her motivated

I can definitely agree with that. Either that or she honestly doesn't give a ****. Maybe she was just testing the waters to see what she could get away with. I mean, I honestly don't know.

I really do wonder what her thought process is sometimes. It just seems like she knew from the beginning of ARTPOP that it wasn't going to be that commercially successful so she just now is kind of going with the flow. I think her next album will smash though. I hope they realize where the mistakes were with the promotion and whatnot of ARTPOP and learn from them. Simple as that. Nothing will stop me from loving/stanning for her. I want the best for her and if she's okay with moderate successes then so am I.

ARTPOP remains to be a mediocre album. I'd really love to hear something on another level of quality from Gaga. Something brilliant. That's a lot of pressure on her, but it is hard to believe ARTPOP is the best of 15 she has on her laptop. These are the 15 tracks she used to "bring art and pop" together? These are the 15 tracks she used to justify being an exquisite meal and not a French fry?
She's talented enough to do better. An album that is perfect start to finish is too much to ask for, but I'd love to hear an album from Gaga that's forward thinking and challenging. I don't care where it charts, but I can't pretend that ARTPOP is an amazing cohesive piece of work. Individually the songs are listenable, but I don't see how this works as an album.
I do support Bobby though. Perhaps her next era will go smoothly without all this BTS **** going on!

He did great things so far. We've got SXSW, Roseland livestream, Lettterman performance...
And for some of you, before he started working for Troy, he worked in marketing at Interscope.
