I do not hear any unique similarities between Born This Way and Express Yourself. I'll be the first to admit when Gaga is borrowing from Madonna, but I just do not hear it on BTW. It [BTW] just sounds like any other disco sounds of the past. Out of all the intentional Madonna comparisons on the album, I do not think the song of the same name was influenced by Express Yourself - but perhaps just the era.
