Nope. Talking about it =/= planning it. Prior to C2C being decided on, Gaga's team and label were deciding on whether or not they wanted to go ahead and move on with Act II of ARTPOP or try something different with C2C. It was decided that C2C was the right option for Gaga both commercially and personally. Thankfully it paid off.

And if you think choosing C2C wasn't strategic on their part then, well, I don't know what to tell ya, sis.

Of course it was a strategic move, just like most of the thing nowadays is. It was more of a strategic move from managements side than Gagas.

I don't actually think Adele will snatch AOTY twice in a row. And it would be ridiculous to wait another year to release an album for Gaga, it doesn't make sense at all.

Born This Way would have won over Rihanna and Bruno Mars in 2012. But I don't think Gaga will postpone her album because she doesn't want to compete with Adele at the Grammys

So an artist shouldn't release their album unless they have a chance to win a Grammy for it? If everyone went by that logic, very few people would be releasing every year.

No one is winning anything next year with Adele in the running. That's just something we have to accept, and at least Adele is worthy of the praise and awards.

If there's a good thing to be had out of this, the pressure Gaga and her team will be under because of Adele's immense success should push them to do their best. If we get a good album and era, I could care less about awards.
