He said on interviews that he will premier his new single during the live shows already. Also didn't he perform "Twisted" last year? I remember The Voice twitter saying it was going to be his new single lol.
Probably tried to capitalize on the success of "Blurred Lines", backfired and shoved it under the rug real quick, like how "Lay You Down" was supposed to be the 3rd single of Versus lol.

The song Dirty Vibe they did together was hot, I hope they'll give him something like that.
