I don't think it's that. I don't think a mature image is as important as people say and Gwen Stefani and Hayley Williams are seen as mature and have had fun coloured hair. She just needs good music that stands out and that she really put all her energy into.
Katy doesn't have Avril's hair and doesn't act like she was 12.
