Do not lose sight of yourself like that! You are worth so much more than the results of a general election in another country. I know that sounds so cliche but it's true! This was not a landslide victory. There are countless millions of people here *just like you* who WILL survive this. If anything, make it your goal to survive it with them and be on the right side of history. Our country failed us, but we - and you know who I mean when I say WE - still welcome you, we still believe in your dreams, and we will always embrace you. Your good sistrens aren't giving up on you, don't do it to yourself.

im with you but... everyone i know who was forced to get insurance through obamacare pays outrageous fees that they dont even see as worth it (every doctor visit having ridiculous copays etc) its not like its unpopular for no reason
The electoral college system is a joke. It allows certain States with a lot of Electoral votes to control elections. It means that a vote in Florida is worth more than a vote in New York. It allows states to remain static due to their demographically consistent stronghold.
It should be a popular vote. Every vote should hold equal weighting, no matter where you live.
Yeah, this is the angry white man's last "horrah." The only problem is that there's no telling how much damage they could inflict—especially in terms of the Supreme Court.
Think about it like this.
If they can erase 40 years of progress in 8 years, then we can erase 8 years of anti-progress in like 1.
