Why not just hope it's strong this time around instead of hoping it's short
Because the premise itself is already weak. Have you seen either of the first two? It's really hard to make a good story out of that. That's why I just hope for an overall lack of.
Also really hoping that Trick R' Treat 2 doesn't suck (not coming out until next year but stilllllll).

Yes, the second one was kinda great. Only truly loved Safe Haven but everything was a big step-up.
