Usher was already performing. They just moved his name up one spot when they got rid of Prince. If you briefly click on the media section of their twitter you'll see the new poster and a few pictures back, the old one with Prince on it.

Problem is they removed Prince's name AFTER the tickets sold out. If you look at the line up, Prince's fans probably don't overlap with any of those people besides maybe Beyonce.

She's never been the type. Prince is also one of her inspirations and heroes. There's no beef.

And sure, maybe investing into Tidal wasn't good business. That remains to be seen. However, they did and their names are forever attached to it so they have a vested interest in making sure it works.
