Oh well it's her career. At least she's loyal to the fans that she chose to stick with, if she's devoted to them then good for her. I don't think she cares anymore, I feel like she's content with the path that she chose. We should all just let her be and support her for what she believes in.

Cyndi gave up waaaay earlier in her career than Gaga tho, she didn't quite have the same achievements other than being the most talented singer in pop at that time.
I really don't care that Gaga isn't #1, but it is frustrating knowing she is capable of releasing better material. GUY is a masterpiece of a video and truly encompasses everything the era should have been. However the material of the album isn't as next level as she hyped it up to be, and even then...it is kind of basic It is catchier than BTW, but I have to admire BTW for being ahead. I actually think BTW would do just fine today. The album is relatable. If she were able to execute the album properly then it could have been her best one.
I agree with this. Maybe if she took that "soul restlessness" into the studio (instead of her outfits) she would do better albums, even though I'm not mad about ARTPOP that much. It's a fun record and has some good songs.
Among the many things she said about ARTPOP, she also talked about its immaturity, so I wasn't really surprised by the "basicness".
Gaga's problem is that she feels the need to justify everything she does for some reason. I don't really get it but her career sort of goes like this imo:

I think the G.U.Y. scenario (unless it improves as well overnight as it did last night) proves that no one can really do a Beyonce album unless they are Bey herself. But she's always wanted to do this and she gave a good music video so I can respect her for it. just don't do it again
Her career is far from over, every artist has ups and downs. People said that Madonna was over so many times and look at ha! Still touring and selling millions. Stop the drama and start the music tbh one album does not define her future, she chooses where she wants to go because a hybrid can withstand these things.
