Doubt it, the public themselves don't exactly have the biggest regard for music industry idols, so they probably think of it as bad news and nothing else. If there was a pileup with a large amount of the public then it would be different but I wouldn't expect anything to change yet.

I know exactly what you mean. Once the newness wears off you start noticing all the things that annoy you about it and you don't get as excited for stuff. But I'm still hooked tbh.

I think TTS is releasing all at once on the 16th.
I just feel like I'm to the point where I get really hyped up about a song/comeback, just for another song/comeback to fill that hype/void. Maybe I'm putting too much hope into it all but I hope some groups bring some refreshing material rather than the same 3-4 producers creating decent title tracks and leaving the albums/minis/EPs full of filler.
Only one group has really brought it this year in terms of an album release, in my opinion.
(EDIT: That I stan for, I know there's plenty of K-pop albums I haven't heard like BTS, etc.)

Of course, certain artists/groups are still great and doing their own thing, and it doesn't mean those BB/DS songs aren't enjoyable on some level, but...
I think it's when the music industry gets to a climate like this you start to see which labels/artists are really on top. YG, SM, and JYP have consistently been putting out good stuff this year and I give them credit for that. From 2014 so far I think some of the best releases have been, besides material from those three;

T-ara/Jiyeon & Hyomin

Nell + Park Hyoshin (not k-pop but still really good)

Agree with all of this! Especially rehashing the same production for their title tracks, it's so tired and boring at this point.
Makes me happy to know that AS decided to wait on their release. Wonder if they got a BB track and was like "uh about 5 other girl groups just released this..."
