Ke$ha had the biggest song of 2010, that could easily be repeated.

Not really. I mean, you can't expect lightning to strike twice in the same place.
First of all, Die Young has NOTHING on Tik Tok. Not that I'm a huge fan of Tik Tok, but it did have a few things going for it, particularly its memorably goofy lyrics. Die Young is essentially a recycled Tik Tok that isn't charming or meme-worthy, with bland, uninspired lyrics recycled from every club dance song released in the past two or so years.
Second of all, Tik Tok was in the right place at the right time. She came in right when dance-pop was reaching its peak in popularity, and the pop environment was perfectly suited for her. That's not so true anymore. The pop climate has changed in Ke$ha's absence, thanks in no small part to the utter dominance of Adele, and nowadays the public isn't here for generic "put your hands up" party anthems; at least, not to the extent that it used to be. Granted, there are a few exceptions, like, say, "Starships", but they're few and far between. I think it's pretty safe to say that the likes of "Turn Up the Music", "Scream" and "How We Do (Party)" would have been MUCH more successful two years ago.
