I'd also like to do something with Foxes new album, maybe a British 2014 Rate? Foxes vs. Lilly vs. Rita vs. ?
I got lots of options, we just have to explore them and agree on something that is possible for me to do and that I wanna do

You, however, could host a Selena Essentials rate - everything Selena's ever recorded, EXCEPT the singles. Are you interested in that?

Oh sorry, I forgot all about him doing it. I'd love to do an essentials rate

I got another one, this one was suggested a while back by someone else but I don't think anyone volunteered to do it.
2013 Rock albums by veteran bands: PARAMORE vs. Save Rock N Roll vs. Lust Love Faith + Dreams vs. Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!
wait I could also do a:
Fueled By Ramen acts 2013 battle: PARAMORE vs. Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! vs. Vessel vs. Save Rock N Roll???
*Fall Out Boy is a former Fueled By Ramen act.

In what world would Paramore and FOB be considered 'veterans?'
Now your second rate idea - THAT has a theme!
But which are you starting first - Fueled by Ramen or Pop Girls/Spanish Albums?

Anything around 10 years is a veteran
Paramore: 2005
Fall Out Boy: 2003
Panic at the Disco :2005
30STM: 2002
I'd like to do the Spanish Rate later.
But what about my female rockers??? I mean the theme is that they are the lead singers of successful rock bands, and there are not a lot of successful well known female fronted bands Paramore, No Doubt, Evanescence, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs????
They are really rare, there are not a lot of them and if they are well they are not big?? You can count the number of known female lead singers with your hands....

Well, I love your enthusiasm, but that Bjork/MIA rate is kind of specious at best.
BUT. A rate I have been thinking of for a while is QUEEN of the 90s - in an Alternative Way.
All singles - from 1990 - 1999 - released by Bjork, Tori Amos, P.J. Harvey, and Liz Phair competing against each other. Would you be interested?
Gavin is hosting the next scheduled discography - Evanescence. Gavin, you can start now!

YASSSSSS!!!
I'll start it when I get off of work later

Gabe I'm so here for a female fronted band rate but Ace has a point about it having a theme
If you really want Evanescence in it then you should chose Fallen, and then Live Through This, and then some No Doubt Album (Rock Steady? That's the only one I know ) and I can't think of another female fronted band that had an album that had an impact.

Yes, the artists you listed
Is there any way I'd be able to do something with MIA/Grimes? They're both underrated experimental electronic artists who are from roughly the same time
Either way
And where is this Ev rate, I must do this

Foxes vs Emeli vs Adele would be good in terms of matching artist types but Adele would win by default by being huge

Fallen vs It's Blitz! vs Paramore vs Rock Steady would be rather cool imo
I only said Fallen because it well known though, TOD would fit in better.

Gavin, my theme was using their most successful albums and I did chose Fallen (see last page)
And then I changed to Evnascence because my new team was "comeback albums" after a long break, Paramore took their longest break yet, Evanescence took their longest too, and let me not remind you of No Doubts 11 year break...
But if I use that one then I think I won't be able to use Paramore again for the 2013 Rate

In about 4 hours
I'm going to use Origin so it's a little longer but I don't know if enough people on here know the songs on it
Also how long do you guys think I should have my deadline be? I was thinking two weeks max because I never understood why some deadlines are so long

Seems good I'm sure that the Ev stans will know it but the others won't so it'll go out quick, but that's fine with me because it ain't that great tbh
When will the countdown start? I won't be here 24 May - 1 June, would it be before then?

Oh, yeah, I knew but since I never partook in one of them KYC's reply confused me about it.
Mess at the overload of replies you are distributing. Just a weekend offline led to this?

You aren't allowed to participate now because you don't like Origin . It's better than Fallen
But I was thinking around then
If I do a two week deadline for submissions and then like an extra day for me to finish calculating the inevitable last minute send ins then that would be the 28th to start (if Ace lets me make it last this long ) so you'd only miss 25 results
So you'll pretty much just miss Origin and Ev3 being slaughtered

Ok, have one less person for your destined-to-flop rate
Jk, I'm surprised how many Ev stans there are on here, I'm sure it'll do well
Oh I see how it is not here for 3vanescence getting slaughtered though, Fallen needs to

The deadline for discography rate is always one month because there's a lot of songs to listen to
