I need her to play around with Rock more. For some reason I need her to do a Rock/Regga album kind of in the vein of Bob Marley but with a bit of Rihanna. I want some dubstep/trance beats with R&B melodies. if she can give me that on album #6 I will be glad.
I think Loud will get its re release after all next March to coincide with the Battleship movie. if no re release then new album in Fall 2012/Spring 2013.
Since the Loud Tour will come to an end in the Summer of 2012. The Europe Leg is not yet completed and looks likely to end in February.
The Australia/New Zealand Leg will pick up in March and Im sure she wants to go to Asia and/or Africa so I'll say by April the loud Tour will be a DONE DEAL.
The movie premieres may 17th so she's gonna be all over TV shows, radio, red carpet events promoting the movie.
By August I want her in the studio prepping the album of her career.

Yes! She never ever ever sticks to one genre. I really didn't fully comprehend that until earlier, when I was listening to all of the singles she's ever released. It's never a continuation of the last. And right? Only Rihanna is bold enough to take that risk. And it's funny because both rock and reggae are (for the most part) irrelevant genres on the Billboard Hot 100, so she's definitely taking a huge risk by releasing not only one, but TWO.
That is what I want more than anything, too. I've always wanted a rock/reggae album from her. Like you said, sort of like Bob Marley. I would LOVE an album full of songs like "Fire Bomb", "Man Down", "Rude Boy", etc. It would be so innovative and groundbreaking. It could **** all over Rated R.
I really hope it gets a re-release within the next year. If not a re-release, a new album, like you said. I would love to get the first single around July-September 2012.
I want her to do a second U.S. leg. She isn't coming to my city and I want to see this tour so badly. And I can't wait for the movie release. So many wigs will be snatched. I don't think the world is ready for it.
If she continues this streak of amazing records, I can only imagine how good the next will be.

I think "Man Down" will be one of those Rihanna singles that either becomes extremely successful or an extreme flop. They will, they censored it in "Unfaithful". They'll censor all of the gun references ("I just shot a man down" will become "I just ___ a man down", "pull the trigga" will become "pull the ____", etc.), any swear words, and anything else they deem as inappropriate. And I agree! I honestly thought "Rude Boy" would flop so hard, even though it was one of my favorite songs on the album.
I just requested "Man Down" on about 40 radio stations. I just realized that one of the stations (Z107.9) is a local station, so I'm listening in and hoping that they'll play the song soon. I can't wait to hear it on the radio.

I totally agree. I feel the same way about CKB and Cheers (if it gets release of course, which I hope it does). I saw your other post and you say they only censored the nig part...that's great. I really wanna hear it now.

92.3 NOW has been playing man down for a few weeks now I think it'll pick up...I think if Rih can survive these risky releases (CKB and Man Down), then the sales will certainly benefit...plus I think Cheers is in the clear as a summer hit if these two can perform well.

Actually my stations have been playing MAN DOWN without any edits. Just the full track, no bleeping or muting any words.

Really? I'm just gonna sit and listen to the radio later on just to try and hear Man Down on the radio. I refuse to be unable to hear it on the radio like with Rockstar 101.

YASS!!
OMG I encourage everybody to listen to her first 2 albums. Please!!! Rihanna wrote a lot of the songs on those albums and they are beautiful, they need a chance. Liste to Now i Know, a ballad that she crafted OMG its from her debut and the song ***** on most of her previous stuff. If you havent listened Music Of The Sun or A Girl Like me I highly recommend you do. true Rihanna stan is suppose to know every song on those album as this is what she truly is.
I have been putting Loud and rated R on pause and listening to Music of the Sun. WHile a couple songs may be boring or filler, some songs showcase true artistry that should not be overlooked.
BTW Im sure she will add a Cleveland date to the Loud Tour. Look out for July 29th. Something in your area will soon arise or maybe u can go to Chicago or Minneapolis to see her.

I really hate this dual release mess. I'm scared CKB will be overshadowed by Man Down or they'll both flop lol
But I'm excited for the Man Down video!

I hope "Cheers" gets released as well. It would be the PERFECT summer single, and the perfect final single from Loud (unless, of course, there's a re-release). Yes! I was so happy and excited. I listened to the station for nearly 3 hours just to hear it. It's basically just the clean album version, though. The same one that is on printed copies of Loud.

Really? You're so lucky. I'm glad the censors are very lenient, though.

I'm so proud of Rihanna, her risk taking, and how much she's evolved and grown over the years.
YES! I used to play her first two albums so much. I just started hating them after "Good Girl Gone Bad" slayed my soul. But I'm getting back into "Music Of The Sun" + "A Girl Like Me" again. I agree, those songs represent who she truly is. The island beats are so hot. And even then, she was exploring so many different genres with her music. And the "A Girl Like Me" ballads still slay my soul.
I've forced myself to listen to it again, and I'm really glad I did. I think the reason I "got over" her first two albums is because I was more drawn to mainstream Rihanna. But now I think I prefer "Music Of The Sun" and "A Girl Like Me" over "Good Girl Gone Bad".
I really, really hope she does. While most people in Cleveland don't particularly like her, atleast not anymore, there is still a high demand. I want to see her atleast once on this tour. I wish I could travel to another city to see her. I was thinking around the 29th as well, since Britney will be here on July 26th and Katy will be here in the first week of July. It'd be perfect to have Rihanna come shortly afterward. I just know tickets would sell fast, too.

BTW u should enter all the sweepstakes to see if u can win any tickets. I entered even though I already have my ticket beside me in my closet July 21st cant come any quicker. Im thinking of selling my ticket back to Ticketmaster because I want to buy a more expensive one so i can be closer to the stage.

I remember being on vacation in St. Martin (there was horrible internet service) when Rockstar 101 was rapidly climbing itunes and having no idea why. I was so excited to see how it was doing on radio stations in the us, but when I got home I saw how it ACTUALLY was doing
