Halshit isn't a flop, so they can't claim her as this "unknown indie, artistique" fave. You know how they love to do this & feel special because of it.

I hate Halshit, her guts, but if I remember correctly she somehow had great first week sales with her debut album. I mean she was a "flop" but not a Banks sized flop.
But then again, Ariana was given Into Moo. Might not be his best year.
