The majority of them hitched onto other bandwagons, like Bey, Taylor, Rihanna, etc. in the meantime. It's shocking how such a seemingly dedicated fan base that would do anything for her just dropped her so quickly after the BTW era concluded.
A few are still as big of losers as ever and are keeping themselves in massive denial regarding her current career state, (i.e. Mariano), but the rest of them just got complete makeovers after it was all over. But oh God, they were unbearable at that time. I remember someone linking me to a post your picture thread on one of her boards at the time, and....
They have their own reasons.
