Hello won't be the song of the year. It's only May and it doesn't have any opportunity to rack in anymore points. There's still six months left in the YEC eligibility period, and LY/Sorry are still comfortably charting.

It won't be Hello. That's for sure. It could be something else that's still new or more than likely gonna be LY since that is still charting comfortably after all this time

Which I'm not complaining about. Easily gonna become an iconic smash for his discography. Though it already is. If Drake releases a music video, I could see him being a challenger for top 3 year end. The song is gonna stay relevant all summer long. And summer is still a month away.

It's really helped that there hasn't been an absolutely massive song so far this year that has completely dominated and felt like the biggest song of the year. Work is the closest thing to that so far, but it doesn't feel nearly as massive as songs like Uptown Funk or Happy.

Agreed. It's weird 7 Years and Stressed Out felt like they were going to be huge, but got blocked. Panda was expected to reign for months, but only got 2 weeks.. Now One Dance was expected to be #1 for the entire summer but him and Justin will probably be going back and forth with their weeks at #1.

I'm waiting for Bruno and Katy's lead singles do drop this year and get added to the list. I can see Katy debuting at #1 actually seeing as how there's been so many lately and that she has been know for getting to the top in just a matter of weeks with all 3 of her lead singles and the lead of her rerelease debuted at #1. And Bruno's 2 lead singles were huge and he's riding off the success of Uptown Funk. Radio is gonna be thirsty for both of them tbh
