Nah I think the early video is gonna mess with the peak (the song won't have enough pop support either which is why timing was important ). It could have made it but I think it's chances have gone down. It's okay for a top 5 hit though 💁🏾 Besides Rihanna is very much ANTi so I'm sure she'd be happy with a number one but I don't think she's aiming for it. She just wants everyone to watch, enjoy and get excited

I think it's better to release now than being overshadowed by all the Bey and Drake hype in the next weeks.
It will give the song a lesser push maybe but better that than waste all the potential of the video.

The problem in this case is that Needed Me actually has what it takes to be a #1. It's been successful ever since the album dropped. Look where it is on iTunes and Spotify off of just early airplay and nothing else.
