Ive been listening to Anti quite a lot and Ive come to the conclusion that while there are quite a few decent songs on the album, it actually showed off the limitations of RiRis delivery. Take for example her efforts on Love on the brain or Higher, but also on her ratchet songs. It tends to sound quite inauthentic and try-hard compared to peers who have already demonstrated excellence in similar styles. I think that's my major issue with the album.
They will add LA Times for sure. It reads like an 80, possibly even a 90.
