I just logged on and well... OK. Not him thinking he was eliminated for choosing simple pop songs when some of my favourite entries used simple pop songs. (Darcy, Sam, Huga...)
Oh okay
If I wasn't fasting rn I would've gone Rated R on yall, something MLD should've done with fake yet still have nice comments
Next time you can take that fake smiley face and say ur entry is trash we hate it we hope you burn in hell
This is. Really good advice you judges should take it

I was going to say this in the PH thread a little while ago, but I think it's probably more appropriate here anyway due to the nature of this game. I listened to a couple of Hiatus Kaiyote songs Tymps and I actually quite enjoyed them. I like their vibe. Very relaxing.

Awesome!
I actually want to help people get started with the next challenge so I'm going to post it soon and then I'll post the Golden Trinity's decision later today.
I'm not trying to gain sympathy or beg for attention, I'm just stating a fact. I was hit with some bad news almost two weeks ago and now I'm just trying to pick up the pieces and figure out what to do next. I've been lost and scatterbrained lately.
I didn't put forth much effort in my entry and it shows. I'm not upset with the judges at all, but if given the chance I would like to come back and prove myself.
Welcome back to the third season of ATRL's Holy Trinity! I'm so glad that all of you decided to participate in this game! It would be nothing without the players.
The other day there was 33 contestants. Now, after a swath of them not submitting and a handful of eliminations there are 19 of you. By the end of today, when the Golden Trinity makes their decision, there will be 18. And after this round, there will be 16. In other words, this round is a double elimination. The Golden Trinity will pick two people from the Flop Trinity to eliminate.
TheLOVETrinity
Love is arguably the driving force behind humanity. It's also an idea constantly spit out at us as being the end-all by society and the media. But despite your stance on love, grateful or cynical, it's unarguable that love almost every single human on this planet feels love.
For this round, you'll be making a three-song trinity about love.
TIPS
Look at love creatively! There are lots of different types of love, or lack thereof. Love is very broad so I'm trying to make you take a divergent approach!
Even if your trinity is not personal, try to write it with emotion and fervor, as if it was your story.
Again, we don't want life stories. If you have more than a paragraph written for a song, it's probably too long.
A reminder that Trinities are made up of three songs with optional descriptions, usually formatted in some fashion. In case you still don't understand, here's an (not perfect) example entry I made for myself. Remember, this is just one approach. Please do not use songs or concepts from my example trinity.
Young Love The Art Teacher by Rufus Wainwright
Young love is sweet and naive. However, young love is also unguided and unrealistic. This song is about falling in love with a teacher, which is surprisingly relatable for a lot of people. When you're so young and in love, you often on't understand what it means.
Adult Love Baby, would you marry me? by Svavar Knútur and Marketa Irglova
While marriage is something that many couples don't do, two people who truly love another often get married as a testament to their affection. In a way, marriage is about being realistic, unlike young love, but inherently that doesn't make it any less romantic so say your vows and kiss the bride/groom.
Old Love The Idea of Growing Old by the Features
When two people are truly in love, they can grow old together and still find the beauty in waking up every day. Love like this is rare but it's a blessing. When you have love on your side, it has the ability to make every day beautiful.
This is all due in my inbox only (Tymps.) by 10 PM EST on July 16th!
