 Madonna's songs still get covered, referenced, her tours still smash and sell out, her catalogue sales are infinitely better than Janet's, etc.
Those videos have more views? cool! they probably are more remembered than Madonna's classics, that doesn't change the fact that Madonna actually HAS classic songs that are remembered which is once again proven by her youtube/spotify stats, the catalogue sales you keep trying to ignore, her smash tours that probably keep you from sleeping at night!

It's not a weird thing you don't know. Her last global hit was in 2001 and most of this forum including me were toddlers at that time. But saying she has no classics is just being a delusional/troll.
I don't expect all this forum to know her hits but hunny lets be real... there is a different between saying you don't know her songs and between saying she has no classics. Just because YOU doesn't know her classics, doesn't mean she has none.

They are many artists that aren't talked about much, if at all, in ATRL. That shouldn't be your jumping point for artist and music that you check out.
That's almost worse than saying VEVO/Spotify is the gauge for how memorable a song is. lol

Madonna is bigger than Janet, but it does not mean that Janet is forgotten. Madonna is the best selling female artist of all time so I don't get your point  The fact that Madonna is even considered as one of her peers says something.
VEVO means nothing. Be sure her fans from the good times has no time watching her videos on Youtube all day.

Obviously janet is a legend
She'd be even bigger if the superbowl never happened but even now she's a legend. It's just irritating when her fans try to make out she's bigger than mariah/whitney.
