Metamorph Music Video
After the stunning Egyptian themed X Factor UK performance, the world sat waiting for the reveal of the music video that would go with the lead single Metamorph. No one had any teasers before hand besides the tweets by Azealia saying that the video would indeed come after the performance. This left everyone on edge. What would Azealia do? What would the video look like? Would it be amazing? Or a trainwreck? All they knew was, is that they were watching. Everyone was watching. Tens of millions of people around the world. Sitting at home, watching X Factor UK waiting to figure out what this video would be. When the screen flashed at the end of the performance saying "Prepare yourself in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." Everyone knew they were in for a ride. A ride of art, beauty, and magic. Something no one had ever seen before in the history of music videos. This video would make history. #MetamorphMusicVideo trended worldwide at #1 for over 12 hours before the video premiered. It continued to trend for 32 more hours after the video premiered. Azealia knew exactly what she was doing with this premiere. She had everyone in the palm of her hand, watching everything she did. And that's the way Azealia wanted it. "I am anticipating the reaction to the music video to overall just be 'Wow what was that?' you know? It's not your typical in front of a green screen music video where you film half at the local night club. It's something different. Something extraordinary." This is a quote Azealia gave to an interviewer before taking the stage at X Factor UK.
The entirety of the music video was filmed in New Zealand's beautiful green pastures. Azealia said about the location of the filming "I have a vision in my head, and this is the only place where the vision can become a true reality. I feel that here in New Zealand, my video is possible. My dream is possible, my vision is possible. I saw Lord of the Rings and what they did here and that really inspired me. They had such beautiful imagery and that's what made me think, I want to do that. Hey, let me do that. You know what I'm saying? I'm really anticipating the filming and the overall outcome." Azealia expressed her excitement and how happy she was to be in the beautiful land on Twitter. The video's filming did not disappoint her at all, according to her Twitter timeline in which she tweeted "In New Zealand! Filming is done and a success! #METAMORPH" However, no one knew what she was talking about at the time. They do now, though. For costuming, Azealia hired Jean Paul Gaultier to design a skin tight metallic silver bodysuit with a matching crop top. Azealia had 3 pig tails on her head full of straight black hair, referencing Left Eye in the Fan Mail era. With silver makeup, lipstick and eyeliner, Azealia looked like a lady from the future stepping into a world unknown. The dancers with Azealia wore matching silvers, all designed by Gaultier.
Metamorph's music video began with a tight shot of Azealia drawing on her lip liner. The word "METAMORPH" then appeared across the screen and the beat dropped. Azealia is then seen with her eyes closed and hands in prayer formation in the middle of the pasture. Azealia's eyes flash open to sing the first verse and you see her blackout contacts, giving an alien-esque feel. Azealia then walks towards the camera, looking at it directly as she sang the lyrics to the hit house single. As Azealia is walking, she then raises up her left arm parallel to the ground, 3 male dancers rise from the ground due to camera editing, with sound of dirt rising to help the effect. the men rise with blank stares on their face, painted completely silver with matching contacts. Azealia does the same with her right arm, raising it and having 3 female dancers appear out of the ground as well. Azealia then begins the chorus as the female and male dancers intertwine and mix as Azealia moves closer towards the camera, getting in the fish-eye effect lens to finish out the chorus. The entirety of this scene is given a fish eye lens effect and is in bright colors, further exemplifying the magnificence of surroundings. At the end of the first chorus, Azealia hits the camera, sending it into a spinning motion.
The camera stops spinning and stops on Azealia, this time wearing a nude bodysuit, covered in swarovski crystals. Azealia is seen sitting on top of a lamb. Gripping its horns tightly, Azealia has both legs facing towards the camera, revealing crystal covered 10 inch heels, by Gaultier. Azealia had a straight across bang for this scene with a high pony and a metal wire wrapping around it, helping it extend 9 inches in the air. The same makeup Azealia had on earlier is seen in this scene. Azealia sings towards the camera during this scene. At the end of Azealia's verse, she is seen flashing her eyes directly in a different direction, leaving the camera to go in another spinning motion, landing on another Azealia sitting at a rustic look harp, completely nude with her dark wavy hair covering all explicit areas. Flowers are in Azealia's hair. this scene is filmed at night, but still Azealia has the same makeup and contact lenses. Throughout this verse, Azealia is twitching as she plays the harp and at the end she runs towards the camera, throws it back into a spinning motion, the camera while rotating you can see the maniacal Azealia playing the harp while laughing to herself, in an insane manner.
Metamorph's last scene is a top down view of Azealia laying in the grass. She sings and looks directly into the camera, no makeup and no contacts. Her wavy harp hair is swirled within the grass to create swirls and shapes. She's wearing a flowy beige Gaultier gown. Azealia sings towards the camera and looks directly at it as the chorus finishes. After the last line, the stars in the night sky are seen falling on top of Azealia as she closes her eyes, the stars make a twinkling sound. The last thing you see before the end of the video is Azealia covered in the night's stars. The video is then over. Since then, the video has gained great support on YouTube having a 99% satisfaction rating and positive comments. With millions of views already, people are expecting the directorial debut from Azealia to maybe even break the YouTube record. Adriana Lima MTV Special: "Off The Runway"
MTV aired a 45-minute special titled "Off The Runway", which features interview footage with Adriana Lima as well as a look backstage at her modeling ventures and time in the recording studio as she records her upcoming debut album.
MTV's cameras got exclusive access to a studio session in Los Angeles with the model-turned-singer, where she was tweaking previously unheard songs.
"This song we're working on now is called "Wings", and this is my dear friend Greg Kurstin. Him and I along with Sia wrote this song and it's a powerful, gleaming ballad. It's very electronic but also has an organic feel to it. The chorus really crashes in and catches your attention."
A snippet is played off the song, where Adriana can be heard singing "Spread my wings and I fly, like a bird through the night, spread my wings and soar high, high, high tonight!"
When asked about possible collaborations on the album, Adriana revealed there is one confirmed collab and a potential collab happening with "the biggest female artist in music history".
"Me and Sky Ferreira did a really fun song together. I don't wanna reveal the title just yet, but I'm sure it will bring out the inner nympho in everybody."

Yeah. Basically, he's created a formula where "x"-promo slot with "x"-article length / quality are worth "x"-amount of copies. Charts come with positions of course and sales.
