Did this song even rank on anybody else’s Best of 2014? Though “How Could I Want More” was released at the end of 2013, this song stayed with me throughout all of 2014. Jamie Lynn Spears delivered the best debut single I could have ever asked for; in fact, Kacey Musgraves very similarly ranked at #3 with her debut “Merry Go ‘Round” on my Top 100 of 2013. Jamie Lynn has an amazing singing voice that truly brings these lyrics to life, making the song sound extremely sweet, vulnerable, and relatable.
I adore this song, and I believe Jamie Lynn has a future in country music, especially if she delivers another amazing track like this. Interestingly, Jamie Lynn snatches a #1 on my year-end chart before her big sister Britney, whose best ranking was at #4 with “Till the World Ends” in 2011.

Truth Serum is flawless imo, while Queen of the Clouds has a few weaker tracks.
