As for his legs, it is not uncommon for a person who has been brain dead for many years in a coma to lose control of their limbs due to things like muscle deterioration, etc.

Yea I thought of that, just wish it it could have got explained...

again its one of the few flaws I have with the movie, which I still adore (ive already seen it 3 times )

But after these credits, im REALLY excited for the next one...Im REALLY hoping we get a young Cyclops, Jean and Storm on this one

The future changed. Jean and cyclops were still around so what happened in X3 never happened. Prof X looked into Wolverine's past (their future) and saw what happened. Maybe he did things differently which caused them to have a different future.

It's pretty obvious from the beginning of the movie that there were two possibilities:
1. The beginning made it obvious that X-Men 3 became non-canonical. Meaning none of the things in that movie ever happened. But the issue I have with this (at least for the beginning of the film) is that Scott obviously killed by the Sentinels... What happened to Jean then? Considering she was a class 5 mutant.

2. Or the future we saw was different from the X-Men 3 past. They, I believe, are considered two different timelines. But the two timelines must have had some common ground in the 70s for it to be possible for this future to have happened. A decision that must have changed everything from happening the way it would have in X-Men 3.

Either way, we know by now that X-Men 3, maybe X-Men 2 never actually happened as the whole timeline changed.

Why doesn't Quicksilver in one of the promo posters? He stole every scene he's in. Anyway, I've read that he'll be back in an X-Men spinoff. Maybe it's separate from Apocalypse because it will cast the past.

Jean is back. Cyclops is back. Storm is pregnant. Everybody's alive. What happens to Magneto? Is he an enemy again?

I really like the future/present wasteland setting. The sentinnels look like Keanu's version of The Day The Earth Stood Still. Poor Ellen. All she did was produce electric stuff in Wolverine's head.

Overall, a really great film. I can't wait for future X-Men movies sans Wolverine in Japan!
