Well, since Uranus rules your chart - and Aquarius is your ruling sign - it has a strong hold on you and kind of dictates your interests and abilities, in a broad sense.
I have a ton of nervous energy too. Like, it's kind of surreal. I wonder if it's an air thing.

Yes, it must be an air thing. Are you air dominant?
I have 6 points towards the air element - overly dominant.  It's pretty accurate to what I'm like as a person actually.

I'm 30% water, 30% air, 20% earth and, like, 10% fire because of my sole fire planet (Jupiter in Sagittarius).
Like you, my ruling sign and ruling planet is air (and in its home planet/sign) so I get it. 
Sun: Cancer.
Moon: Libra.
Mercury: Gemini
Venus: Cancer
Mars: Virgo (not air but ruled by an air planet)
ASC: Virgo
MC: Gemini

Adele is air dominant and she claims to experience crippling stage fright/pre-show nervous tension (she even tries to run away/escape  ). 
Her chart:
Mercury in Gemini 0°29'
Venus in Gemini 25°14'
Mars in Aquarius 18°48'
Allegedly she has an Aquarius ascendant too. 
Extreme nervousness seems to be an air thing.

I've been reading Astrology things all day and I feel such a disconnect between who I am and how I'm described as a Capricorn.  Do any of you feel the same with your signs?
My Aquarius Venus and Mercury descriptions are spot on, along with Cancer Moon (other than dislike of change), Sagittarius Pluto and Pisces Saturn. I relate to them all. But I'm Capricorn dominant and I don't relate to 70% of descriptions of Capricorns.
I definitely think I come across as a Capricorn (cold, aloof and serious), so Capricorn Ascendant fits, and there are certain things that are quite Capricorn of me, but I relate much more to Aquarius descriptions, which is annoying.

Probably because you have a whole mess of planets in your 1st house, altering your sense of self.

Saturn is confusing to me. I mean, people with strong Saturn influence are naturally wise, so what's with all the lessons, trials and tribulations? Seems like a drag to me.
Can Venus in Capricorn cause people to view relationships like business contracts?

My Sun, Neptune, Mars and Uranus are all in Capricorn and in House I. My Mercury in Aquarius is in House I too though, so maybe that's where it comes from?

My friend has this book which details the chemistry, compatibility, and carnality (what goes down in the bedroom) between every sign for every relationship (Man&Man, Female&Female, Man&Woman). Don't remember what it's called, but from what I've gathered, us Libras seem to be best matched with Leo, Sagittarius, and Gemini on a good day. Stay away from Taurus and Aries, especially ****ing Aries. Aries get on my ****ing nerves, they are so hot-headed and **** up my scales.

Oh and from what I remember, the attraction between Leo and Libra is immediate. The book said something on the lines of the attraction is so strong between the two that they could lock eyes at one point and 30 seconds later be making out in a hallway. When it comes to Libra and Sagittarius, it's a case of opposites attract. Sagittarius wouldn't normally go for someone like Libra, but when they actually get to know each other, magic happens. And this is for Male Libra and Male Sagittarius, it's different for each relationship dynamic.

oh really? From what I've read, basically everywhere says that Libra is best matched with Gemini and Leo (and now I'm discovering Sagittarius). I read about Aquarius and they just seem too boring
