It may be a step back in some of your eyes, but Rihanna has been doing this every single Era. In Rated R she released Russian Roulette, then came back with the "Generic" Rude Boy. This is nothing new.
Right Now is as generic as OG, S&M, WFL and WHYB. Yall just don't understand this advanced hardcore EDM.
Just because Rude Boy was the most radio-friendly track on Rated R doesn't mean it was generic. There was nothing like it on the radio at the time.
