P!nk finishes in the top 40 with the first single from “The Truth About Love”. The song and her voice rocks! With “Try” growing on me just now, expect that to make in my 2013 yearender along with the masterpiece, “Just Give Me A Reason”.
Last year’s #40: KE$HA- We R Who We R
39. K'NAAN f/ NELLY FURTADO- Is Anybody Out There? (21.12%)
This was a surprising but effective collaboration. Nelly’s part in this track was so good, that I can listen to it all day. Props to them for making spending eight straight days at #1 on my daily countdown. Glad to see this song in other countdowns as well.
Last year’s #39: LADY GAGA- The Edge Of Glory
38. KATY PERRY- The One That Got Away (21.52%)
Still having a strong finish in the countdown is this heartfelt song from the beautiful, Katy Perry. Obviously TOTGA received decent points after retiring in my countdown last January. Expect one more entry from her.
Last year’s #38: BRITNEY SPEARS- I Wanna Go
37. OLLY MURS- Oh My Goodness (21.79%)
Olly Murs appears for the final time with Oh My Goodness. I really love the laid back vibe of the song. This is another single from him that is Michael Buble-ish, but it’s pretty good so I’m not complaining. His two albums were impressive too, props to him!
Last year’s #37: FOSTER THE PEOPLE- Call It What You Want
36. GYM CLASS HEROES f/ RYAN TEDDER- The Fighter (23.42%)
Another interesting collboartion charts decently in the countdown. Ryan Tedder’s vocals really fit the song. I feel like everytime he sings the chorus, every athlete out there is inspired to knock out their opponent. Hence, I think the song successfully delivered it’s message to the listeners.
