It's pop, the lyrics are a mess but that's what makes it brilliant. Lyrics are not
that important in pop music, at least not compared to other genres. How the song comes together is more important, whether that be its production, its melody, hooks etc. You have to judge a pop song by the whole package, what looks terrible on paper can work when it's put into practice.
I think she's really talented too. She's received a lot of critical acclaim recently.
