This TBH. I love her, but this song is not the jam. Also, I wouldn't blame this flopping on it being pure pop. Her other music that has done well has also been pretty pure pop also, and if songs like Ariana's "Into You" can be a hit, there is definitely hope for good, pure pop songs.
