I must admit I'm a little disappointed, if only because, when I saw the scores begin to trickle in, I got a little excited that my rate might be the one where a song finally scored that elusive perfect 10. But regardless of any lapses in judgment that may or may not have occurred, a victory by "Doo Wop (That Thing)"—probably the most successful, most critically acclaimed, and most important song in this rate—still makes for a mighty fine finish.

Man supa, your combo rates always bring out the high scores. 9.71 and 9.94? I really cannot. And the two most deserving songs in the top two AGAIN. Wow!
I was utterly steamrolled by this quiet storm ballad the first time I heard it, and it still holds immense power umpteen listens later—from the chirping birds and simple piano that spur reflection on a dysfunctional relationship to the sultry electric guitar that sends it drifting of into the ether. Lauryn's emotionally raw vocal performance, in particular, is possibly the most stunning in this entire rate. Though it didn't receive the most 10's, "Ex-Factor" was lifted by high marks across the board; YSL's was the only score below 8.5.

I'm really happy with this result. Also I'm shocked I only gave a 7 to "Walking On Broken Glass" and didn't give a 10 to "What You're Waitng For" but everything went as I wanted.
